What we build today will make a difference in schools tomorrow.
We focus on behavior, not on walls.
Hi!
I'm here to help you.

We are not replacing
with the government.
We highlight structural needs through HartaEdu, but we step in where courage, trust, and motivation are needed—on the inside, not just on the walls.
We work with behavioral science.
We use globally proven methods— Social and Behavioral Change —tailored for Romanian schools. Our interventions are brief, clear, and integrated into the classroom, without requiring extra class time for teachers.
It all starts with research.
We analyze the data, see what works, test it in the field, and make adjustments based on the results.
We don’t just work “from the office.”
How Narada Projects Work
We understand people and the context
We examine what drives or hinders certain behaviors.
We co-create solutions together with the community.
We work on multiple levels: individual, family, and community.
We'll stay in school for 2–3 years
So that change can take root. Teachers receive ongoing support, and over time, each school becomes a model of best practices.
We measure everything
Every intervention includes pre- and post-assessment tools. We follow up with follow-up sessions, reactivation efforts, and new interventions—to ensure that the impact is real and lasting.
Intervention methodology
Narada 2025–2027
behavioral data for 50,000 children in the Romanian education system, which will be derived from: baseline assessments, research on the 10 interventions, and assessments of spillover effects.

Another, less rigorous set of data will be collected via HartaEdu.ro and will involve all stakeholders, not just the beneficiaries.
50 researched behaviors (desk research phase)

– the number of behaviors for which data will be gathered from social research and experiments already conducted internationally.

40 of the 50 remain in this research phase, documented in the Future Ready Behavior Map, with the note that they have not been validated for the Romanian educational context.
10 behavioral interventions tested on 25,000 children in 50 schools – the number of interventions that reach the field testing phase.

Although not all interventions will yield a scalable solution, all will provide valuable data on the 10 behaviors, which can actively inform the system about what works, what doesn’t, and what parameters matter in terms of preparing children for the future.

In this phase, we are creating a direct impact for 25,000 children.
Future ReadyBehaviour (RoMap)

– an interactive white paper via HartaEdu.ro that proposes 3–5 validated behavioral intervention solutions for nationwide implementation, designed to prepare children for an unpredictable, hyper-accelerated future marked by social, political, and economic turbulence.
2025 programs
In 2025, Narada is taking a bold step away from the obvious emergencies and toward those small but profound changes that transform schools from within. It’s no longer just about what’s missing from classrooms, but what the children are missing: courage, motivation, and a sense of belonging.

This is where we start.

All of our projects are developed based on behavioral research and tested directly in the classroom, alongside children, teachers, and parents.
Projects 2025
Everyday Needs for EXTRAORDINARY Children
A program for children who don’t win first prize, but who learn to navigate life on their own. We’ve created a space where they can be seen for who they are: empathetic, brave, and creative. The schools involved in the project discover hidden talents, build teams, and begin to redefine success—not through grades, but through human potential.
Projects 2025
Parents Who Change Everything
We started with a question: what happens when parents begin to believe in their role? We worked with mothers and fathers from vulnerable backgrounds, listened to them, and offered them support and clear tools. The result? 76% say their relationship with their child has improved. More than half have learned to communicate better, be more patient, and get involved in school. A small intervention, a big step toward change.
Projects 2025
A Great Start / Fearless in Fifth Grade
A program for children transitioning from a single teacher to 10 teachers, from the familiar to the unfamiliar. Six weeks of activities that build a sense of belonging, resilience, and emotional security. With tribe maps, walls of success, letters to oneself, and courage exercises. Children learn to ask for help, express their emotions, and feel like they belong. Teachers receive clear guidelines, and parents are part of the process.
Projects 2025
Power Mode – 8th Grade: Balance, Organization, Independence
Exam season brings pressure and exhaustion. Many children no longer know how to study; they feel alone and overwhelmed. The 4-week program gives students clear tools for organization, concentration, and self-regulation. They learn study techniques that keep their energy levels up, rather than draining them. Teachers and parents provide support, not pressure. Children leave feeling that they are in control of the process, not just that they “have to succeed.” Self-discipline and self-reflection begin to take root.
Steps that changed lives.

“We need to contribute, offer support, and lend a hand in other communities as well, not just our own.” — Irina, IPSO
Irina, an IPSO ambassador and Narada volunteer, talks about the role of education and the power of community. For her, volunteering means learning, purpose, and the joy of bringing goodness closer to others. A conversation about responsibility, empathy, and the belief that “there is strength in numbers”—in education and in life.

David's Story – The Boy Who Learned That Education Is Everything
In a village in Argeș, a boy discovers the power of education and the bond he shares with the teacher who never gave up on him. David’s story is one of courage, transformation, and the power of a tablet to change lives. Through the Narada program, digital education has become the bridge between hope and the future.

“I don’t have time to get bored” – The story of Maria, the little girl who turned quarantine into creativity
Maria, a 10-year-old student from Teșila, Prahova, has shown that digital education can be a source of inspiration and joy. Amidst the challenges, she discovered a passion for drawing, music, and online learning. Her story, part of the Naradian communities, shows just how much strength and curiosity children can have when school offers them support, confidence, and the freedom to be creative.

2020 – Response for Education
Just a few days after the pandemic broke out, we took action. In record time, we rapidly shifted to online learning.
Previous projects
2021 – NaradiX
A platform built to address the urgent need for educational catch-up. With the help of volunteer teachers, we’ve digitized all the curriculum for grades K–8, created user-friendly video lessons, and developed content tailored for children. 35,000 users, hundreds of thousands of page views, and children from 131 countries have learned with NaradiX.
Previous projects
2021 – HartaEdu
We took a close look at the country’s map and saw something else: unaddressed emergencies, cold classrooms, missing labs, and collapsed roofs. That’s how HartaEdu came to be—a platform that highlights schools’ needs and mobilizes communities. Results? Over 500 alerts resolved, over 120,000 children helped.

2024 – Off to School
Because yes, in 2024, there are still children who don’t go to school because they have nothing to wear on their feet. We started with this harsh reality and mobilized an entire country. 2,698 children fully outfitted, 73 schools supported, over 1,300 donors, and dozens of content creators involved. It was more than a campaign—it was a wave of solidarity.

2023 – Student Alert
We didn’t stop at identifying needs—we created an intervention system that changes lives. For children at risk of dropping out of school, we provided: tutoring, psychological counseling, supplies, and emotional support. 100% of the beneficiaries continued their education. One even published a book of poetry.
Previous projects
2023 – Together for Our School
60 schools across the country, 41,700 students, parents, and teachers—all working together toward a common goal: to turn shortages into decent learning conditions. We repaired roofs, brought heat to classrooms, and, above all, restored the children’s sense that school is a place that matters.

2022 – Ukraine Resilience Fund
The war has changed lives. Narada responded with empathy and action: we created emotional support courses for Romanian teachers working with refugee children and Romanian language immersion lessons for 250 Ukrainian students. 25 teachers and 50 schools received the tools they needed to ensure no one was left behind.

2022 – Save a School
25 schools, 25 critical alerts, and a single day when everyone—children, teachers, parents, and influencers—joined forces to raise funds. Simultaneous Christmas fairs, items auctioned off with heart and soul, and a lesson in civic entrepreneurship shared with the students. “It’s okay for us to do it” is no longer just a motto; it’s a way of life.
Each of the projects listed above was a step toward a system that sees, listens, and acts on behalf of children.
In addition to these major initiatives, there were also small projects with a huge impact: remedial classes in Bisoca and Sângeorz, emotional support programs, creative workshops, and our educational crowdfunding platform.

Each one is further proof that sometimes the biggest changes start with small steps.
